A Golf Starter performs customer relations work to assure optimum use of golf course facilities through scheduling golfers' starting tee times, inspecting registrations and tickets for validity, and providing information on course rules and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. This position will meet and greet all customers in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
2. This position will arrange cart fleet and players in proper starting order, and maintain order on the course.
3. This position assures guests’ tee off on the proper course and at the proper tee.
4. This position will inform guests of course rules and regulations and keep a record of all rounds played, including cart usage. Making sure all players have receipts for
their rounds of golf.
5. This position will keep the golf shop and the ranger informed as to the status of the first tee.
6. This position will keep tee area and starter area clean, sweeping, dusting, and removing trash where needed.
This position will require light janitorial duties in/around the golf shop and on the golf course on an as needed basis.
Previous Golf experience preferred.

The Hombre Cart Attendant greets all guests and ensures all carts are clean and ready for customers' use.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and friendly service to all members, guests and employees.
Clean and prepare golf carts for use (i.e. stock towels, tees, pencils, scorecards, etc.)
Report any cart problems to mechanics in a timely manner
Stage carts for play in the staging area neatly and organized.
Assist guests with their golf bags and other equipment.
Keeps your tee sheet up to date with the pro shop.
Ensures customer satisfaction and positive relations through daily interaction with members and guests.
Maintains driving range, keeps pro shop stocked with range balls.
Works in conjunction with inside staff and starters/rangers.
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of outside areas.
Drives golf carts at a safe speed at all times.
Cleans restrooms when necessary.
Empties trash receptacles when necessary.
Washes and details each golf cart after each round played.
Acts as an ambassador and promoter of facility at all times.
Candidate must work in varied weather conditions, previous guest service experience, excellent communication skills, previous golf experience, the ability to load/unload heavy golf bags and work a flexible schedule.
Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License

As a recreation Intern you will be required to complete the following with professionalism:
Plan, budget, and implement diverse recreation activities and events at the resort.
Develop promotional collateral for all recreation programs effectively within the resort.
Actively maintain risk management applications to the activities.
Follow guidance and assignments of Recreation Director & Manager to ensure proper implementation.
Work collaboratively as a team to produce activity programs that are beneficial to the resort’s guests.
Supervise and coordinate nightly programs for kids 5-12 years of age.
Maintain a presentable work area and kid’s recreation facility.
Create activities that are appealing to kids of all demographics and families.
Track daily administrative paperwork for events conducted within the resort.
Construct and present a proficient budget analysis and expense report to present to management upon completion of the summer internship.
One or two years’ experience in the field or related area.
CPR/First Aid certification.
Strong communication and computer skills.
Desire to learn and succeed in commercial recreation field.
Willingness to work consecutive hours, weekends, and holidays.

Maintain certification in pesticide application by the appropriate regulatory agency. Familiar with basic fertilizer processes including set up, storage, application, and compiling accurate record keeping procedures. Most work tasks are performed outdoors and must have Grounds Maintenance experience.
Must be able to work a flexible shift.
For this position, a Florida state pesticide certification within 60 days of hire is required.

Hands-on supervision of employees of the Guest Services Department, including Front Desk Agents, Tram and Valet. Delegate job assignments and manage the work environment to ensure maximum efficiency while maintaining service standards.
Accept requests from guests and employees regarding assistance with baggage handling and storage, delivery of items, limousine transfers, or assistance with obtaining transportation and assigning agents to handle these requests. Supervise and direct the Guest Services staff and make adjustments as needed to maintain service standards. Maintain front desk logs, keeping them accurate, updated and in good order. Constant walk-through of pool area to make certain it is clean (no trash on the grounds) and tidy, including emptying trash receptacles. Ensure all pool furniture is in its proper place.
To complete setting up and breaking down of all service cabanas as designated by management.
Inspect entire pool area replacing any missing items and/or repairing (when possible) any items needing attention. (i.e. umbrellas, chairs, flags).

Assist guests and owners in professional and friendly manner. Follow up with guests on all requests and issues such as extra supplies, lost and found, scheduling cleaning, broken items and general questions.
Keep work area clean and organized. Assist housekeeping staff and other departments as needed.

Inspect guests units to ensure cleanliness, maintenance and set up standard, as well as to verify status. Ensure everything is in working order and record and follow-up with all maintenance work orders. Inventory all unit supplies and report items to be replaced due to damage

The Reservation Sales agent handles all guest calls for booking reservations. Answers questions regarding rates and availability and asks questions to help determine the resort that would best suit their vacation rental needs. Serves the guest by giving accurate information in an efficient, courteous and professional manner. Job duties will require outbound calls to guests and data entry of online reservations.
Answer reservations line in a professional, friendly and efficient manner. Provide guests with the requested information concerning the resort, rates, availability, the resorts amenities and the surrounding area. Obtain the necessary information from the guests and enter into the NAVIS and SMS system. Agent must be effective in sales and customer service and adhere to the NAVIS compliance guidelines and sales philosophy.
Process incoming Online Travel Agency (OTA) reservations correctly and in a timely manner. Agent will make outbound calls to return voicemails and follow up with guests that previously shown interest in Resort Collection. Any other duties as dictated by supervisor or manager.

Attend to guests' and owners' needs including but not limited to, Greet and welcome guests upon arrival. Register guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address and credit information.
Accept payment for guests' accounts both at the time of registration and at checkout. Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily. Cash checks and exchange currency for guests.
Issue key to and control entrance of safety deposit boxes. Post miscellaneous charges as requested.
